Using the Search box

I have added a search facility to the website, primarily to help sportive riders find their photos among the many images.

To find your photo, type your number into the search box as follows:

1. Your rider number, prefixed by the 2 or 3 letter event code This will be entered if I can make out your number on the photo I took of you.
For example for the Gran Fondo Cymru - Enter this as: GFC597, White Rose Classic - WRC87 etc.

Where no number was visible the photos have been tagged. Type the following:

2. Your jersey colour.
Enter this as: redjersey etc. Note: where the jersey is made up of several colours, this is the primary colour of your jersey or gilet/jacket you were wearing at the time.

3. Your helmet colour
Enter this as: silverhelmet etc.
Note: where the helmet is made up of several colours, this is the primary colour of your helmet.

4. female You do not have to enter male as it will automatically default to this.

Obviously the quickest way is to enter just the event code and your number (so get into the habit of putting it prominently on the front of your bike!), e.g. GFC298, WRC78 etc. but if it isn't in my database you can also narrow down the search by using multiple values as in the following examples:

bluejersey, redhelmet, female
blackjersey, whitehelmet if you're male.

Notes:
It is important you put a comma "," after each value and ensure there are no spaces between jersey colour and jersey/helmet colour and helmet.

If you have say a red and blue jersey or helmet and you do not find anything when typing in what you think is the primary colour, try the other colour in the search.

Sadly I have not had the time to tag the White Horse Classic riders, so the search will not work for those images.

The White Rose images are slowly being tagged... I'll announce when this has been completed, but please appreciate it is a huge task to tag 1,800 photos!!
